When carrying out job-order manufacturing, we also utilise non-conventional technology of glass cutting – the water jet. A computer controlled water jet carrying abrasive material can grind through the class of thickness up to 20 cm. This technology allows us to move the boundary of glass making and decorating another step further. We can also utilise the water jet for cutting out shapes which cannot be achieved by traditional grinding or cutting methods.
