Painted glass has always been a traditional article exported from Nový Bor all over the world. Glass decorated by so called “high enamel” is characterised by rich, three-dimensional relief usually in the form of floral motives combined with manually painted areas of glossy and matted gold. Painted glass is a traditional article found in many Arab sheiks’ palaces. However; it can also beautifully complement modern interiors. These classic décors were originally developed in the Venetian town of Muran. Nevertheless; we do not have to stick to the traditional motifs. The skilful hands of our painters can paint almost anything you wish. We cooperate with dozens of workshops and we would be honoured to allow you to personally familiarise yourselves with this technology and experience the odour of burnt-in gold and turpentine with your own senses.
